Kimmo Samuel Timonenis a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenseman who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey Leaguefor the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, and Chicago Blackhawks. Timonen had played in over 1,100 NHL matches before retiring. During his career, Timonen had also featured in three IIHF World Junior Championships, seven IIHF World Championships, two World Cups and five Olympic tournaments. Everyone has more confidence at home. We battle harder at home and we get some wins that way. We need to work harder overall, especially on the road. We need to play a simpler game. When you simplify and keep things low-scoring, then you have a chance to win.
Every time we play Sweden it's a big game, it doesn't matter if it's the world championships or an exhibition game.
Every time we get another win, we just get more confidence. I'll be honest and say I thought we were the better team. I've never been on a team this tight and together.
I've got to think about our team and how we play. We've got lots of time to talk about this when we get back to Nashville.
