I didn't know what I did. I don't know what my first thought was anymore. It's pretty bad, actually, because I want to know how it felt. But I can't.
hopefully
Hopefully it will get better. It's a lot better than what it was when it happened.
felt lights mentally
I felt tired. The lights felt too bright. I was just mentally tired.
best either errors few movement played tennis
I don't think either of us played our best tennis today. My footwork and movement was not as it should be and I made a few unforced errors but that's tennis.
felt happy turned yesterday
I am very happy the way I turned things around from yesterday and I felt a lot better today.
against aggressive draw game last mix spin tough year
I feel better this year than I did last year. I've had a really tough draw so far. I really still feel like everything has to be at your best, especially against Amelie. She mixes her game up so well. She can be very aggressive but then she can mix in the slices and the spin ball.
clay excuse excuses matches played trained
I don't want to make excuses because I haven't played so many matches and that this was my first match on clay this season. I had trained and I was ready.
It's been a year of many more downs than ups.
last plan schedule throughout tough wisely
We have a tough schedule this summer, so I have to plan my schedule wisely if I want to be able to last throughout the season.
There have been many moments over the last year when I thought it was all over.
felt fly good great plane
So far, and today, everything felt really great. Now I am good to get on the plane and fly to Australia.
physically trying
I've been practicing for a while now and physically trying to get in better shape as well after the injuries.
best excited hard player stupid tennis time waste work
It makes you also realize, 'OK, I'm excited to play tennis, and I work really hard to be the best tennis player I think I can be,' but I don't waste my time on stupid stuff, you know what I mean.
felt good hard obviously shape trained
Obviously I'm very disappointed. I trained very hard this summer and felt in a good shape to play the U.S. Open.
