Life is progressive and I knew my career was about to end. I came to the United States when I was 17 and didn't know much about basketball. Sacred Heart helped me to grow up and now that my career is over I just have to take it in stride and keep going.

I expected us to do better this year. I won't say what a great success this season was. I think we underachieved. We're better than our record says.

They had to shoot a 3 and my man was a big man who was obviously going to shoot a 2. I just tried to react to see who was going to shoot it. I jumped at him, and, fortunately, I got a piece of the ball.

The last four were tough and we were sliding. It was imperative that we came out today and played well. Get a win, but play well and continue to play well the rest of the season.
