My Father taught me to weigh my words carefully, and speak up only when I had something insightful to add to the proceedings, or something really funny to say. He also taught me that if I couldn’t be that kind of guy in real life, that I could earn a healthy living pretending to be that guy in the movies – particularly when paired up with a long haired stoner.
This is not an industry in which you curl up in a ball and shy away from the realities. It's a time to scream to the clouds that we're here and we've got great values and great prices. What better time to do that than the Super Bowl?
I've always kind of ripped from real life to some degree or at least how I'm feeling in the moment. In fact, maybe that's really it. In anything I've ever written, all the characters sound like me, which I don't think is a bad thing.

It would be nice to know what the next five years will bring, but we don't.
These scientists say to themselves every day, 'What I am doing is really important to someone and their family -- people who are truly suffering from a violent crime and searching for answers' and they know that. They are some of the best public servants we have.
the wind is polishing the roads to glaze in about 20 minutes.
Read the comics, which are probably far better than the film would be if I was involved. Otherwise, my version of Batman would be like him standing around talking for two weeks and not getting anything done. The Bat-A-Rang would never leave the utility belt. It would just be chatting.
Sometimes you don't know how he's going to get it to you, but he does. He's very good at finding the guy with the hot half.
Ronda really was key to the case. Her testimony blasted their whole defense that (Baker) was at fault.
Every hour that he's on the loose is another hour he could hurt somebody. So we need to do everything we can to find him, and we are.
