catch hurrying rebound shoot square trying
She was really hurrying her shots. She was trying to catch the rebound and shoot in the same motion. We were trying to get her to square up (to the basket) before she shoots.
hard offense open patient score tougher tried trying until work
This was tougher than the score indicates. They're really physical. We had to work on offense to get open shots. We tried to be patient until we popped someone open. They were trying hard to take away Sophie Russell.

Once you get the draw, everybody's trying to find out information on who they play.

We just had a lot more energy. It kind of makes you wonder, 'What if we did that (in the first round) on Wednesday?' But that's the tough part about coaching. There's always going to be some doubts.

She's quicker even though she's not as big as Gabby (Wade) or Sophie (Russell).

I'm always a little worried when we play teams that are taller than us.

I felt like we never let it get away from us. We can't take anything for granted. We've got a target on us and everyone in the league has gotten better.
compensate contribute loss players ways
Without her, it will be tougher. All the players will have to find more ways to contribute to compensate for our loss of her for the season.

We didn't get into (offensive) sets quick enough. And that's too good of a defensive team to not run sharp sets.

We were down in the first quarter, but it was much better in the second and third quarter.They were really key.
good inside point shooting
We got inside and we had some pretty good looks, but it got to the point where they wouldn't go up strong. You can't look at the defender, you've got to look at what you're shooting at.

It's not so much that (the River Ridge girls) want to have it happen, but I do think people are kind of upset.
