behind couple few looking missed played tried worked
Looking back on it, there have been some missed opportunities. I know I've missed a couple of things. Defenses have played us soft; we've tried to get behind them, and it hasn't worked out a few times.
bad hard learn offense perception public receiver shown takes whatever worked
Whatever the public perception may have been of Randy, I have nothing bad to say about the guy. He's come here, worked hard and shown that he'll do whatever it takes to learn this offense and to be the kind of receiver here like he was in Minnesota.
good guy guys hate heck players worked
The guy has worked his butt off to get back to where he was, and he was just now getting back to being 100 percent. It's just disappointing because he's a heck of a player, and you hate to see good guys like that and good players get injured.
ball creative expect people roll ways
We expect (double coverage) every game. People are going to do it, roll (coverage) to him and stuff. But we're creative enough where we can find ways to get him the ball down the field.
approach challenge chance environment excited good guys handle hostile ready thursday
We feel like we have a chance to be a good offense. I think we've showed some of that in the preseason. But we'll find out Thursday night. I'm excited about it. It's a big challenge for us, and I think guys are ready to go. But at the same time, we know it's a big task, and we've got to approach it like we're going into the most hostile environment imaginable, and we'll have to handle it that way.
beat call moment people remember stuff
You get beat up and you get beat down, and people call you stuff and call you 'loser,' ... It's going to make you tough, and that's why it makes this moment sweet. But you remember things, too.
effortless far run throw unique
Everything is so effortless for him, ... It doesn't look like he's running. I can throw it as far as I can and he catches up to it with no problem. He's a unique guy. He can run unique routes. Every day, I see something that's new and different, and it's something that I like.
anybody head seen though walking
Even though we're 0-3, I haven't seen anybody getting down. I haven't seen anybody walking around with their head down, like they're going in the tank.
football start
We've been around long enough to know ... if we start off 0-3, there's still a lot of football left,
best bugged decided feelings felt guy known position
What bugged me is that they decided that someone would be better at the position than me. I didn't feel that way at the time. ... I made my feelings known then. Shoot, I went through a lot with that organization. I felt like I was still the best guy for the job.
guys
We showed a lot of heart. We showed a lot of character, ... We should have won. But I don't think our guys are going to go in the tank.
encouraged
We showed a lot of heart, ... We showed a lot of character. I'm encouraged by what I've seen.
beat goal knew
My goal was not to have any turnovers tonight. I knew that's what it would take to beat these guys. It was a disappointing play.
bit certainly emotion ended five game good holds involved meaning special tough
Obviously, this game holds special meaning for me. I had five good years there and I'm very appreciative of everything that they did for me when I was there. At the same time, obviously, it was tough the way it ended and there's certainly a little bit more emotion involved in this game for me than any other game.
