appreciate final hardly played time
I hardly played at all so I didn't appreciate it fully, how hard it is. This time is better. We all want to get back to the Final Four.

The play was designed that way. If they hit a 3, we just wanted to get the ball out quick and run it down the floor. A.J. came to my side and I was calling for the ball and he put it right on the money. I just shot it. When it left my hand, it felt good but I had no idea it was going in. Luckily, it went in.

This was a big win for us on the national scene. The past couple of games we have really played Texas basketball.
daniel focus running scoring worry
Daniel doesn't have to worry about running the show and can focus on scoring the ball.

It's just a fog to me right now. I'm not sure if it was contested or not. I was able to shoot it like a normal shot, though.

It's fair to say we've had trouble generating our own energy on the road at times this season. We're trying to get past that.

I want people to remember how far I came, from not playing to being a major contributor. I want them to remember that some way and somehow, I worked hard and found a way to get on the court.

It opened up my game a lot. Defenses collapse on the other guys and I've been getting open looks.

A lot of things are going to be running through my mind. Just the things that Buck and I went through from our freshman year to now. I just can't believe that this is going to be my last home game.

A lot of time to do nothing. Going from the high-speed life of L.A., with the traffic and everything, to the quietness of Maine and the slow pace that they live was just a big adjustment for me. It's something that, I look back now and I cherish because you see just two different sides of how people live and every day lives. It's something that will forever be on my mind.
