I'm the first to screw up more than anybody else. Yeah, you'd love not to have any, because it gets you that much further into a game. But I mess around and mess up and make bad pitches. Guys make errors. There's not one of those guys behind me that's dogging it or not trying their best. Really, I don't mind it to a point because it gives me a chance to show them I'm going to get an out and get them back in the dugout and make up for it.

I don't think there's a worse 0-2 pitch I could throw in my life. God it was bad. I think before I even let it go, I knew it wasn't where I wanted it to be. It was terrible.

I don't look ahead and take anything for granted. I want to be sure that when the season starts, I'm ready to go to the mound and be successful. At this stage, it takes a lot more, unfortunately.
