I'm fortunate to have this role, especially since I am a freshman. It's a small role, but I am also one of the background dancers. This is a great opportunity for me. After playing Mr. Brill, I have aspirations for bigger roles. It's hard work but fun and everyone is sharing the laughs.

I'm very protective about what we have here because we don't have the pure talent to play above any lack of cohesiveness. We're nothing if they're not a group of guys that basically come and grind it out every day and bring an all-out effort every day.

In an age where you don't see guys sacrificing every last dollar to stay in a situation where they are comfortable, we have a few guys who have done that. Part of the reason we are able to look at a World Series trophy is because of that attitude.

If you're not able to take the time to get into a classroom setting and you're wanting to make a career in motorsports, then I think is an ideal way to get an education in it. It's also ideal for local drivers and the people that surround them. It will give them more of an idea of what they have to do to secure sponsorships for their teams, and as everyone knows, securing sponsorship for anything these days is a tough thing to do. This course, and this program, will get you started in the right direction.

In surveying the landscape, which was one of the things I promised Joe I would do, I did look around to find something better for him. He understood that I wouldn't just be giving him away, though. In looking around, there wasn't a better opportunity for him to play in the big leagues than the one he has here with us.

He took a club predicted by some to finish third or fourth place and rode it to a World Series championship. That's a very commendable thing. I've been a little disappointed in some of the awards. ... But all along Ozzie and I decided the most important thing was a team effort, to be cohesive as a unit, and all individual things were secondary.
