banging early fifth finish game good hard hockey kept maybe second though tie win
We were banging around it so hard in the second that I felt, even though we were down 4-1, that if we made it 4-2 early (in the third), which we did, if we kept going we could still tie up the hockey game and maybe win it. We had a lot of good chances, but we didn't finish and then they scored the fifth goal.
fast kept
We started off fast and we kept it up.
chipping defensive excellent kept night overall people six
Our overall defensive play and goaltending have been excellent through six games. What I like is that we have different people every night who are chipping in. They've kept us competitive.
asking eventually figured kept
We just kept asking him where he was, where he was, and eventually he figured it out.
adding awhile came carolina effective game himself kept last pile played pressure year
He put a lot of pressure on himself last year when Carolina started making those changes. He just kept adding to the pile there and he put too much pressure on himself to try to do everything. He came here and after awhile he just played his game and was very, very effective for us.
gain hear identity starting
We're starting to gain an identity and confidence. We're starting to build. You can hear it in the banter on the bench.
against gain game hear identity locker moved ottawa room starting team
We're starting to gain an identity and a lot of confidence. The game (Sunday) against Ottawa has really moved our game up a notch... You can hear things on the bench, the bantering between players, which is excellent. You can hear the locker room has a lot more life. Our team is starting to gel.

far focused games
We're so far removed from the end of the season. There are still 20 games to go. We're all focused on our own group.
good great people played randy smart
We?re going to take Randy right through to the end of the day here and see how he looks. He had a really good first game, which was most impressive. I like what he does. He?s very smart and the way the game?s being played right now you need people who are smart offensively and defensively. He?s done a great job.
beat everybody great
What a great play off the boards, ... He went one-on-two and beat everybody off the boards.
exhibition honestly until work
We?re going to have to make some adjustments. We honestly don?t know how this is going to work for us until we play some exhibition games.
ability confident speed
We feel confident in his ability. He has the speed to get up on the attack.
shown year
We're not a one-trick pony. We've shown it all year that we're not a one-trick pony.
