Jill would get bumped or hit and buckle over at the waist. She just didn't handle the contact very well. Now, she thrives on it. She's the one going through a screen with her shoulder down. She's more the intimidator, the physical presence, than other teams. She likes the physical game now.
amy basketball club hands knows smart veteran
At the end of the game, we wanted it in her hands on the free-throw line. It's just smart basketball. We're a veteran club and Amy knows just to go right to Tiffany. We have to play smart basketball at this time.
full hand hands knew nice
I knew they were going to have their hands full with Kelly. You can double-team her or triple-team her, but she's going to be a hand full. She made some nice moves.
baby dad handling proud
I'm just so proud of the way she's handling all this this year. That's a lot to put on a kid's shoulders. I know her dad is just so proud of her, because Jill was his baby girl.

Man, we had some opportunities there. We battled back and we never quit. To be down by that much and have an opportunity to win the game with under 10 seconds, that says a lot for the girls and how well we played defense at the end.

Tiffany is shooting the ball really well right now. You guys were saying if somebody stepped up and hit the outside shot it would make a difference in the game, and she did today.

I even told Theresa this, it was a pleasure to coach against her these past four years. She can do everything.
basketball couple girls months night proud ready rough tough
We've really had a rough couple of months of basketball and it's been tough and draining. I'm very proud of the girls because they've persevered. They've come out ready to play every night and they haven't had a letdown.

We ask Jill to do so much. She doesn't just have to score. She has to guard the perimeter, she has to help us break the press, she has to play outstanding defense.

It was a bad one. We're going to try to get through Thursday, that's what we are really pushing for.

We want to go to Jill in that situation, but they just did a good job of collapsing on her.

We're going to go to our strengths, and we are going to go inside. It's no surprise to anybody what we're going to do, and we're going to keep doing it.

They're playing awfully well. They're shooting so well. They're just not missing.

That's good for our confidence. That's what we need to do to keep them from packing it in. We just have to be able to shoot the ball.
