Now that nobody's worrying about this quarter's earnings, they're now worried about if growth will slow and since Microsoft said yes, that led to a sell-off in technology. There's some worry about Microsoft being split up but I think it's actually more concern about their warning about the future.

It sounds like it's pretty much what we'd expected at this point. But everybody is still worried about how long the consumer can sustain the economy. So the fact they are only up a tenth of a percent, people are beginning to worry whether the consumers are really going to slow down, and the economy with it.

Overall today, I think the market's just sort of looking for direction. The same old worries began to resurface as people got back into the swing of trading. In Canada and U.S., people are watching for (inflation) to be higher then it was last month. In the U.S. everyone is just nervous about whether we're going to see numbers higher than anticipated because that would make the (Federal Reserve Board) less likely to cut more interest rates.
