Pfft, I hate Christmas Day. It's for children and families. Not for people like me.
There is a softer, romantic tough by some of the prints and by the colors. It's not harsh. Some is body-conscious. Some is completely fluid.
We started a shape and we have to continue it also in shoes, in jewelry in everything, because things have to be current.
They suddenly opened like an explosion - it was an idea I didn't look for - it came to me,
This is what I think is modern. It's like wearing a couture jacket with a pair of jeans.
kind of flesh colored leather stockings more than boots.
Italian craftsmanship is really our treasure. So we're very proud of that and we try to do everything by hand.
Some have a little balloon touch, but you can always see through. So without being naked, you can see the body. So the clothes float around the body in a way. Everything's very light, light, light. The main thing is weightless, weightless, weightless.
Because it's very clean, very impeccable but then it's all inspired by the legions and nobles of the North. The hair is done like a Munch painting, and the things are inspired by the music of Grieg.
The inside is all very refined with tons of details that make it very expensive.
In the streets of Paris, you see more long dresses in the summer than you see in the winter, because all the winter long used to be heavy, heavy material, but now they are different. They are open. They are pleated ... They can move in it. They are not something uncomfortable and impossible for daily life.
The hair and the makeup are the only real wild points of it. It is orange makeup ... like fire and flames. And the hair is all back. But then there are tiny little metal things which is what keeps the hair away and explodes like flames.
I see things in the middle of the night. I draw them on paper and I don't even think about it. I'm like a machine in a way - just made of some electronic stuff. Vaguely digital.
I like girls to be wild but at the same time beautifully brought up and very funny.
