Victims call us crying and upset. Sometimes they just want to vent to someone who is not going to judge them. They want to know where they can get help and where those options are. We give them access to our safety plan and shelter.

The photos were taken at the three islands, North Island, South Island, and Stewart Island. There are a few good shots of a famous surf spot called Raglan - it's the longest surf left in the world and featured in the classic surf movie 'Endless Summer.' I also have a few of Clint's fishing boat, F/V Rachel, leaving the Port of New Zealand.

Because of all the excitement surrounding the trip, and the change in routine, it's easy to set one of those small items down somewhere and lose it. Because most people don't put identifying information on portable electronics, even if someone with good intentions finds one, the owner has little chance of seeing the item again.
