anyone attitude chasing division finish momentum overall playoff striving underrated win
Momentum going into the playoff is very underrated and that's what we're striving for. It's kind of a curse, but we don't really have anyone chasing us now in our division and we've got to go out with the attitude that we want to finish first overall and win the President's Trophy.
flip hockey playoff switch
You don't want to go in cold. You don't want to go in and think you can just flip the switch and think playoff hockey is in your blood. You need to go in hot, you need to go in with an edge.
turning
Once he started playing, there was no turning back.
clean coach coming conference finished start worried
I'm not really worried about this loss. Like coach said, we finished 7-6 in non-conference, and our conference is coming up. We've got a clean slate, and we can start all over again.
fastest learned tickets
I learned my lesson. I probably got one of the fastest tickets in Virginia. I was doing 161 in a 55.
anesthesia pounds three weighed woman women
I've done anesthesia for a two-week preemie that weighed three pounds to a 98-year-old woman for a hip.
blown close conference fighting free games last playing team
It's very frustrating. You look at how our team's been playing and it comes down to turnovers and free throws. It's something we're concentrating on for our last two games and the conference tournament. We're close in every game so it's not like we're getting blown out. Our team is fighting hard.
carolina definitely focus main needed
It's definitely something that you need to overcome. My focus needed to be on the Carolina Hurricanes because we were down 2-1 and we needed a big win. That was my main focus tonight.
leaves nobody occupies people room
It's huge. He does so many little things away from the puck, things nobody sees. He occupies one, sometimes two guys. That leaves a lot of room for people like me to work.
easily five fought given goes instead left minutes team
We were down 20 with five minutes left and could've easily given up. Instead we fought back and that goes to show our team won't give up.
everybody learning people process showing
Some people thought that it was going to be a learning process because we got young guards, but all he's doing is showing everybody that they're wrong.
definitely hard outcome played pleased
As competitors, we're definitely disappointed about the outcome but we're pleased with how we played. We played hard to the finish, all 45 minutes. We played as hard as we ever played.
coach
Coach told us they were probably going to come out a little tentative and then get up in us, so we had to get after them right away.
ball coach coming free knew mission
Coming out of the timeout coach told Brandon to look for me so I knew I was getting the ball anyway. When the ball was free I just made it my mission to get the ball up to the rim.
