opening prepared spring
What we've done this spring has kind of prepared us for opening day.
art balls helping keeping learning receiving talking zone
We've been talking a lot about receiving -- keeping balls in the zone and working on footwork. There is an art to getting strikes. I'm learning a lot and making a lot of adjustments. It's helping me a lot.
cost excuse run
There's no excuse for Miguel or myself not to get that run in. It probably cost us the game.
guy pressure takes
Miguel is a well-respected guy in the league, and that takes a lot of pressure off us.
college high losing matter school
No. Losing is losing, and you never get used to it no matter if you're in high school or college or the big leagues.
good regular runs season totally
It's frustrating because we're not getting as many runs as we'd like to. We had a good spring, but the regular season is a totally different story.
hit pressure took
He took a lot of pressure off the offense. We've been scratching and clawing and couldn't get anything, and when he hit that he kind of loosened us up a little bit.
games great pitching runs scratch tonight
Games like tonight are real frustrating, when you get great pitching like we did and only scratch two runs across.
chance main past year
The main thing this year that I haven't had in the past is I hadn't had a chance to be out there every day.
