both guy opinion personal sides vote
My personal opinion is I will never as long as I have a vote, vote for a guy who doesn't play both sides of the field,
giving rebound stop team
I just need to stop giving up runs. I don't need to rebound from anything. I just need to stop the other team from scoring.
helping people start
I need to start getting some people out and helping this team.
ball definitely elevate hit leaving second turned
After the second inning, I think I turned it around. I think I was rushing, I was definitely leaving the ball up a little bit. . . . You elevate the ball and they're going to hit it.
ball couple felt past
Hopefully, I go out there and just concentrate on what went well today. I felt like I located the ball pretty well with a couple exceptions. I'll try to concentrate on that and not think about this. This is in the past already. Let it be gone.
ball control felt hopefully threw trying
Hopefully I can go out there and concentrate on what went well. I felt I threw the ball a lot better today, was more in control of what I was trying to do.
ball couple felt
Hopefully, I can concentrate on what went well. I felt like I located the ball well with a couple of exceptions.
If he was Superman, ... he'd play defense.
battle lead opportunity
How many times are you going to battle back? Sometimes when they give us a lead we got to keep it or at least give them an opportunity to get us one and I haven't been doing that.
affect chasing diving grind guy guys might vote
I could never vote for a guy who doesn't play defense. They don't go through the grind other guys go through defensively, diving after balls, chasing balls. If you make an error, it might affect you, but if you're a DH, you don't go through any of that. You just hit.
ball definitely discovered leaving rushing second talked turned umpire
The umpire talked to me and said (the pitches) were very close, they were just a little off. After the second inning, I think I turned around and discovered a little something I was doing wrong. I think I was rushing and I was definitely leaving the ball up a little bit.
ball behind fall frustrated good news trying
I'm just trying to out think myself, I think. Then, when you do fall behind and you're not locating the ball well enough, it's always good news for the hitters. I'm frustrated right now.
blew blow
You can't blow leads. I blew two and we blew four.
