Obviously, we're not doing a good job out there on the field, consistently. Probably, at the end of the year, I'll express myself, because there's a lot of changes that need to be made. But I don't want to go into it right now.

This is the best I've felt going into the season. It feels good every time I wake up in the morning. I feel better than I did the day before. That's probably the biggest reason I've got a big smile this spring training.

This ballpark is not a good ballpark. It killed us last year, and it's going to kill us again this year. The organization looked deep into it last year, saw what happened and didn't change anything, so I guess they didn't care about it.

Once they get the butterflies out of their heads, they'll be fine. I went through that. The first couple of games you try to do too much. I don't know if that's the case, but it looks like that, because they're swinging at really bad pitches. But they're both good players, and I think they're going to bounce back. It's only four games.

I don't know if I'm going to be here by the time they build the stadium, but obviously that's a great step. This ball club is going forward, and that's very good news.

I understand everything Soriano is saying. I would probably try to work it out. That's a team decision. I hope that both of us can be in the lineup at the same time. That would be great, because adding Soriano to the team is very good. I'm waiting for the team to make the right decision. Some way, somehow, we have to get this working. I'm happy that both of us are here.

Dr. Thomas knew I made the right decision by avoiding surgery. Everything is going like we planned. But I had to work hard and that's what I have been doing.
fine games miss program sure winter
Everything went fine this winter with the program that I was going with my leg. I want to keep doing it here to make sure I don't miss any games during the season.

Everything was settled before the game started. I'm glad it was a nice clean game out there. We're not here to fight anybody.
