That is a lot of dollars. We care. I don't know if people understand what it is like living in Los Angeles compared with other college cities. It is expensive. Sometimes it gets tough for some players. I think if something like this, a fair stipend for everyone, was done, it would be appreciated. But players are careful when they talk about this. It's a tough call and I'm glad I'm not the one making the final one. My vote would be to do something, give something, anything.

It was really their program, their style of play. No matter who your favorite team is, it seems like Gonzaga is your second favorite. It's a great program. They have a great bunch of guys and coaches but so do we. I wouldn't change it for the world.

It really was because we're sitting today with these hats on, these beautiful T-shirts, all that stuff. It doesn't matter what goes on in the game. Me personally, 1-for-9, 50 percent from the free-throw line. I couldn't be happier right now. I wouldn't have it any other way. That's all that matters.

The only reason we're alive is because we really believe it. Coach Howland has been preaching defense since Day 1 and our level of focus has really risen. We really believe in what the coaching staff is teaching us.

He's done so much but you guys haven't seen anything yet. I see talent and I told him early in the year that he was going to be so good. I could see just by watching him practice. Some of the things he would do were amazing. The scary part is he doesn't even know how good he is yet. He's not even close to his potential.

He has a big body, he's strong, so it's somewhat similar to what he (Davis) does. He's been a big help.
