counted defense found great lock past played second
We've played great defense in the past and this wasn't one of our better ones. But when it counted down the stretch, second half, we found a way to lock up and get it done on the (defensive) end of the floor.
prepared ready second team time
If you look at our team we're really young. It's the first or second time for most of us here. It's just exciting. We were all prepared and ready to go, just a little jittery.
catch chance game lose nobody
Every game is a chance for us to put it away. Nobody can catch us if we don't lose anymore.
win
We can win 33-32 and we'll be happy. We just have to play our game, play the way we play.
beneficial close somewhat
I don't think it will be any more pressure. It's always beneficial to be somewhat close to home.
blessing disguise game hope special start stretch
Right after that game I said, I hope this will be a blessing in disguise and we can start something special down the stretch and I think it really did.
difficult easy forcing
We got a lot of easy opportunities by forcing turnovers and making them take difficult shots.
beat key
We've been pretty much like that all year. That's the key - make someone else beat us.
deep dug sink
It won't really sink in for a while. Just to be a part of it is something special. I don't know where we got it from, but we dug deep and got it done.
compare game home played
The way that we played in the first game at home is the way we should play every night. To have that to compare it to, that's what makes it hurt.
came focus great hats kept points
I think we did a great job. They had 12 points in the first half. That's just great defense. Hats off to our guys. We kept our focus and came out and executed.
came sold stuck
He was the only one who came in and sold me on defense. The only one. That stuck with me.
good great
He made a good play. He has great anticipation. It was clean, no foul.
against beat believe carries definitely difficult next team three time
Any time you play well against a team and believe you can beat them, you definitely get your confidence. It definitely carries over to the next game. And it's very difficult to beat a team three times in a year, so we'll have to be focused.
