It's an honor for me to be selected to play in the Pro Bowl. It was one of my goals when I set my sights on playing in the National Football League and I am excited to play with all the great players that have also been selected.
finish gone good says season top
Anything we can salvage from this season would be good for us. With everything that has gone on, to finish in the top 10, that says a lot.
basically corner david great side speed
Oh, big impact. He's pretty much up to speed already. He's going to be great for us. We have a shutdown corner on one side and David Barrett on the other, who's basically a shutdown corner as well. So it's going to be good.
behind meaning smooth time winners
Some things were said to individuals and some things were said in groups. It was friendly, but there was meaning behind it. It's never always going to be smooth sailing, but it's time to be winners again.
coach tape watch
Coach Shannon, he popped in the tape and was like, 'Just watch him. Watch how he plays,' ... Coach was like, 'You could be just like him.'
anybody betting enjoy good kick likes poker talk
Anybody who likes to play poker, if you want to find a good poker game, you're going to go play. It's not anything where I'm betting the house, like $100,000. You go, kick back, have fun, talk to some of the fans, enjoy it.
atmosphere creates edge great guys help miami others played playing tips work
One thing I want to see is guys under me and who played with me be very successful. I work out at Miami and when I'm down there I'll tell them things I know and give them tips to get that little edge to be successful. When it comes down to it we're a family, so when the Hurricanes are playing well I'm happy. When I was at Miami I had Nate Webster and Micheal Barrow help me out. That creates a great atmosphere and I want to help others out.
buy help rust stuff
He said he was getting the rust off. So I thought I'd buy him some stuff to help him.
game learn reason run stop whatever wrong
humbling. Our game is to stop the run and for whatever reason, we didn't do that. We'll look at films, see what we did wrong and learn from it.
situation
I don't know what to say. I've never been in a situation like this before. It's tough, real tough.
In hindsight, it's funny, ... At the time, it was like, 'Oh no, not again.'
based interested liked true
I liked the preview. It interested me that it was based on a true story.
apply bad gets lining pick technique
I can apply a lot of things, ... Lining up, technique and things like that, and doing it consistently, play after play. He doesn't make bad reads. He gets after it. He's always around the ball. Things like that you can always pick up from him.
ball game missed talking
I couldn't do much talking there, ... Missed tackles is what it was. It's not the play calling, it's not the game plan. We'd get to the ball and we just didn't finish.
