ahead biggest incredibly instead learning lesson next ready sort
We're incredibly young, and it's a lesson that we have to learn, but at this point, we have to get ready for the next game. So, the biggest thing we have to sort out is learning to play ahead instead of behind. We're not there yet, but we are on our way.
charlotte deal great greater honor pride privilege program represent talk university wearing
We talk a great deal in our program about having pride in wearing a Charlotte jersey. She will not only have the privilege of representing our university but there is also no greater honor than to represent your country.
again challenge credit effortless environment great hard herself honor impact last looks meeting national player playing proud quite risks season stretch test tremendous willing work
You see a great player like Lindsey and at times it looks effortless for her on the field, so she sometimes does not get as much credit for her hard work as she does for her talent. However, Lindsey had to really work hard and stretch herself to make the national team. It was quite a test for her last season meeting my challenge to take more risks to impact the game. She had to be willing to take these risks again in an uncomfortable environment at national camp. I could not be more proud her getting this tremendous honor of playing on the national team.
came played proud quite scared second sure
I thought that we played a little scared in the first half, and I'm not quite sure where that came from. I thought we responded better in the second half, and I'm very proud of them.
captains excellent leadership named players qualities success team three tremendous vote
These three players were named team captains after a vote by the team. I feel that these three players are tremendous leaders. Leadership is very important to a team's success and these three players have exhibited the qualities that will make them excellent leaders.
beginning cant challenge expect games good great half holding responding second sort
The challenge is to sort out what's holding us back at the beginning of games. We're responding at half time, responding to the adjustments we are making. We're working our tails off in the second half, getting great chances, but you cant give away the beginning of games and expect to get good results.
