substitute
In this league, there's no substitute for getting experience.
allow best control easier god league nine people roll second situation spent third whether
This situation is easier for me because I know God is in control and this is what he wants, ... Whether I'm the first, second or third quarterback, I have to do the best I can with that role. I have to roll with it because I've spent nine years in a league I was told I couldn't make it in. I won't allow people to see this as disappointing now.
field goal recovered
We had that letdown, we didn't get that (second-half) field goal and it kind of deflated us. We never recovered from that.
along far rookie
I didn't really think that a rookie could be as far along as he is,
agents cut free good half healthy less market money spend
Basically, the money has been cut in half because there are more free agents on the market with less money to spend on them. This whole situation, it's not good for any of us and it's not good for the game. Something that was so healthy is now not so healthy.
affect everybody game maintain watching
When you get to the playoffs, you know you're the only game going on and you know everybody is watching and you know the ramifications. You have to maintain an even keel. You can be down 10 or up 10, you can't let that affect you.
best foot love
That was an invitation, to me, to put my best foot forward. That's who I am. I love competitive situations.
almost brought tears
It almost brought me to tears going in there to see him.
ball felt game glad half second terms throw
I felt better in the second half in terms of being able to throw the ball where I wanted to throw it. I'm glad to have had (Sunday) so that if I have to go in a game in the postseason I feel like I'll be more prepared.
learned plan trying
He's a big part of our plan in those situations, ... He's someone who has learned what defenses are trying to do.
best drives football fun neither pool satisfied wants whether
He will never tell you this, but he wants to be really, really good, ... It drives him. He wants to be the best at everything he does, whether it be football or pool or golf. That's why it is fun being with him. Neither of us will concede anything. He's never going to be satisfied as a football player.
played watched whether
Whether he watched or played every play that first year, I think Carson would be doing the same thing he's doing today.
areas bit decisions falter playing
The decisions he's making are awesome. He's just been so consistent, and he hasn't made any unforced errors. He's playing so well right now that we can falter a little bit in other areas and he's making up for it.
