people proud super
We're not super flashy, but we're super steady. A lot of people think we play old-school volleyball. I'm proud of that.
far quality wish
I wish we had more, but there aren't a lot out there. Quality middles are far and few.
answer body crowd exciting expecting following great student university
It's pretty exciting for the university and the community. We're expecting a great crowd and we expect a big BYU following to be there. Hopefully, our student body will answer the call, too.
trust turned
I trust his opinion. It turned out well.
good huge obviously passing served serving simple system volleyball
Volleyball can be a pretty simple game. I think serving and passing is a huge part of it. Tonight, we served well and got them out of system more than they're obviously used to. They're a good passing team. I think they were a little off tonight.
both career defensive expect great players senior turns
They're both great defensive players and I didn't know if Alfie being a senior would make a difference. Every once in a while a walk-on turns out to be a great one and we expect Brent to have a long and illustrious career with us.
athletic best bigger far good great net runs team
BYU is pretty impressed, that's for sure. They're bigger than we are, more athletic and more experienced. They've got some good servers, they're big at the net and Nielson runs a great offense. BYU is far and away the best team in American right now.
anyone based obligated
I don't see how they can give it to anyone else. I think the committee, based on the criteria, is obligated to give it us.
