The greatest friend of the soul is the unknown. Yet we are afraid of the unknown because it lies outside our vision and our control. We avoid it or quell it by filtering it through our protective barriers of domestication and control. The normal way never leads home.

When you listen with your soul, you come into rhythm and unity with the music of the universe.
expression imagination divine
Nature is the direct expression of the divine imagination.
may
May all that is unlived in you blossom into a future graced with love.
mind identity body
Our bodies know they belong; it is our minds that make our lives so homeless.
order solitude individuality
Each of us is alone in the world. It takes great courage to meet the full force of your aloneness. When you face your aloneness, something begins to happen. Gradually, the sense of bleakness changes into a sense of true belonging. This is a slow and open-ended transition but it is utterly vital in order to come into rhythm with your own individuality.

I think the divine is like a huge smile that breaks somewhere in the sea within you, and gradually comes up again.
light addiction negativity

death kindness acceptance
If you live in this world with kindness, if you don't add to other people's burdens, but if you try to serve love, when the time comes for you to make the journey, you will receive a serenity, peace and a welcoming freedom that will enable you to go to the other world with great elegance, grace and acceptance.
healing two people
No one else has access to the world you carry around within yourself; you are its custodian and entrance. No one else can see the world the way you see it. No one else can feel your life the way you feel it. Thus it is impossible to ever compare two people because each stands on such different ground. When you compare yourself to others, you are inviting envy into your consciousness; it can be a dangerous and destructive guest.
mind together celtic
The Celtic mind was not burdened by dualism. It did not separate what belongs together
loyalty passion civilization
The silence of landscape conceals vast presence. Place is not simply location. A place is a profound individuality. With complete attention, landscape celebrates the liturgy of the seasons, giving itself unreservedly to the passion of the goddess. The shape of a landscape is an ancient and silent form of consciousness. Mountains are huge contemplatives. Rivers and streams offer voice; they are the tears of the earth's joy and despair. The earth is full of soul ..... Civilization has tamed place. Left to itself, the curvature of the landscape invites presence and the loyalty of stillness.
flames people emptiness
We cannot fill up our emptiness with objects, possessions or people. We have to go deeper into that emptiness, then we will find beneath nothingness the flame of love to warm us.
