The greatest compliment I ever got was when people called me an artist, and I understand that solo aspect of being an artist, when you're in there by yourself, trying to do something great, and people who don't even know you can come up and just dump on you.
This taught me a lesson, but I'm not quite sure what it is.
But these guys learn so fast now, they sort of soak up the information, they're fearless. Those are the guys who learn from their mistakes and come back strong the next time.
I think the U.S. Open was the best in many years, with (Andre) Agassi making the finals. The problem is accessibility. They need to improve on that part. They aren't making enough effort to show their personality. They have gone in the wrong direction for too long and need to improve.
Roddick is already feeling the heat because he took a step back this last year. There's no doubt that if (Federer) plays up to his capability, he's going to win it.
I think it can. The powers that be, IMG, the ATP, need to work together more coherently.
It can work. Hopefully, we can find a way into some of the big events; a combination of places like Naples, as well as having an event at the U.S. Open or Wimbledon.
I felt like I had it in me, but I didn't know quite what was going to happen.
If anyone's been listening to my commentary the past year then they know I'm in favor of using replay. I think it will make tennis more interesting.
When I was 25, if you'd have said I was going to be a commentator, that would seem like, 'Oh, my God. That's a huge step down.'
Most guys would like to play the guy they have the winning record against. That's what you love about Roger he embraces the challenge.
Well I think that's probably one of a few, where I grew up in the City of New York, it's got a lot of energy, my parents are Irish-American so there was a bit of yelling going on in my house but it seemed normal.
It would be more interesting, more exciting, if a player lost a point if wrong on the second challenge. It would make the player think before challenging. Particularly in a tie-breaker where every point counts.
It would be fitting; I hope he does it. For a country like Croatia, it would mean even more than when I did it for the States.
