caps celtic certainly enjoying few good highs lows
To get 50 caps you have to go through highs and lows - and I certainly had a few - it has never been rosy but to be still here, as well as enjoying good times at Celtic is very pleasing.
result wales wished word worst
It was the worst result Wales could have wished for. Sven-Goran Eriksson will have to say just one word in his pre-match talk, 'Denmark.
particular picked team
The team was picked for the day, for this particular match.
asking banging bench came chris craig door entitled few knocking martin matter misses natural rarely score telling
Craig is a natural goalscorer and very rarely misses in and around the box. He is entitled to be knocking on the manager's door and asking to play. I was the same when I first came here and came off the bench to score a few times. It didn't matter to me that Henrik Larsson and Chris Sutton were the strikers, I was banging on Martin O'Neill's door and telling him I wanted to play.
caps few left level means number
So I still have a number of years left at this level if I keep myself right. To have 50 caps and still only be 30 means there are a few more in me yet.
accept argument certainly help left players playing saying team
I have always been that way, but there is an argument that if I am left out for players in better form, that's fine. I will have to accept it, but if I am playing well and feel I can help the team I will certainly be saying that too.
celtic justify playing scoring side turn
If I really feel that I justify being in the side and I am playing and scoring for Celtic I will say what I feel. I have never been one to just turn up and be a part of the furniture.
english enjoy good hear japanese join lads learn matter noise people players playing saying sure understand watching welsh
When you are playing with good players, it doesn't matter if they are Argentinian, German, Welsh or whatever. Good players can join in and understand their team-mates on the pitch. In most of our games, you can't hear what the other lads are saying anyway, because of the noise of the crowd. I'm sure Shunsuke will want to learn English so he can enjoy the other lads' company, but there are so many Japanese people here watching him that he isn't going to be lonely.
allow best cent cherish country decision enjoy enormous few final loved per playing pride pull sad shirt wales welsh whenever
It's a sad day for me because I've always loved playing for my country and representing the Welsh people. I always feel enormous pride whenever I pull on a Wales shirt and will always cherish the memories. Now I've made this decision I'll be concentrating 100 per cent on doing the best I can for Celtic. Hopefully, this will allow me to really enjoy the final few years of my career.
challenge
It's a challenge for me, to go there and get that goal.
against beat dream england game kids lads opportunity sure wales wants
Wales v England is one to tell your kids about. The game everyone wants to be a part of. To play against England, to have the opportunity to beat them, is something we all dream about and I'm sure all the lads feel the same.
asked certain football front players six terms total
Yes, in terms of the total football and imagination, ... I had asked for more from certain players and we got that. The front six were fantastic.
difficult expect few flying forward game looking table top
There will be a few tackles flying in, but you'd expect that in a top of the table clash. It will be a difficult game and one that we are looking forward to.
childish growing moments
There were one or two childish moments if you like, as I was growing up and maturing,
