We'd like to challenge for the title. All we've got to do is be hot for two days. I like what I've seen lately and the guys are excited.

We're making progress, and we're going to hit our stride soon. These guys have a lot of talent. They just have to relax and believe in themselves, and we'll be back on top.

There was no wind and it was 75 degrees. It was ideal for scoring. We just didn't really get anything going. We didn't play terribly. But give it to Johnson and Wales ? that's some good stuff there.

Jon Burke had a solid round. He was 3-under with six left, but made a double on a par 3, then bogeyed the tough par-3 17th to finish at even par.
