We tried to play the best we could considering the surface. We were able to dominate the whole game. If was difficult for us to put things. But we did what we needed to do.

I've seen enough lineup cards in my life to know that if you're not on it, you're not playing, ... I walked over there probably a little quicker than I usually do to check out the lineup card.

Sometimes it feels like I'm going against the grain, but I've got to continue to do it. There's no choice, so I'm going to go down there and keep fighting to get back up here.

We are very pleased to win another trophy. It was one of those games where we did enough early to win and then coasted.

I was very pleased with the enthusiasm showed by our players. It was good to see that type of attitude in a district opener. The win started us off nicely in district and hopefully we can keep moving in the right direction.

We came through very well. Our backs were against the wall but we found a way to win.

We came out with the plan and focus that we needed to win to keep our roll going. In the first half, we did what we needed to do, but in the second half, we experimented with some things. I was disappointed that we didn't finish some things in the second half.

Guys asked me if I had lost 30 pounds. Well, no.

Baseball is a lot more fun when you're winning. Right now, we haven't been winning. Hopefully, we can get this thing going pretty soon. We have the players. We just have to put it together here.
