You get lonely. I've been through it a lot and I know what he went through. It's great to see him come back. I'm sure he would love to get a win on U.S. soil. My hat's off to him.

I thought I had it but I missed a birdie putt on the 16th and then missed from four feet on 17 and that was the golf tournament. I should have had it won but it's just a lack of confidence in putting. Tiger has won so many golf tournaments I am sure I was feeling a bit more heat than he was but you just hate to lose that way and I know Tiger hates to win that way.

It's been a horrible putting year. And when you don't have a lot of confidence with your putter -- especially when you have a chance to win -- instead of feeling you are going to make them ... I didn't feel like I was going to make them.

It's hard for me to draw the ball nowadays, ... So it's more of a pull. I try to pull it off the tee. I can pull it left. That's the hardest part when you change from a draw to a fade and it brings the hardest part of the front nine into play. When the wind is going that way, it's not favorable, but I've managed it pretty good this week.

I really thought I was going to make the (birdie) putt. You know, what do you do? I know Tiger didn't want to win that way, and I certainly didn't want to lose that way.
