The thing I'm most pleased with was I thought you saw an intensity level and an effort level that we haven't had for a couple of weeks. Second of all, there were things we prepared to do, and we executed them. ... It was some good stuff.

I was happy with some of the spurts we had. I thought we did some good things defensively in the second half. There was just that breakdown around the 6- or 7-minute mark where we let them make some plays, and we stopped playing.

It's unbelievable how he finishes games off. We're running an offense that's all based on reads, and I've got to do a better job of training him so those reads are easier for him. The offense is a driving offense - we're going to get in the lane at some point. And it's been really good for us.

We really guarded. We rebounded in the second half, and my stars were stars, all three of them. We rebounded and my three stars were stars. We're pretty good what that happens.

We won't know how the conference has weathered this for about another two or three years, maybe four. The top half of our league was very good (this season). The bottom half of our league was not good. That's a fact.

They are a very good team and they aren't your normal 16-seed. Everybody knows tat and everybody is talking about that. They are saying that this is the upset because they are not the typical 16-seed. They have seniors, they have (junior forward Caleb) Green inside, and they are as big and athletic as we are. That concerns me.

Offensively, we were back to passing it to each other. We were back to making easy plays. We didn't turn it over as much. We did some good stuff.

He made runners, he made them when they bumped him, he made them inside. He rebounded the ball. He did a fairly good job of defending. We (isolated) him about 10 straight times, and about nine of them, we got something good; either he scored or got somebody else something.

This wasn't about money because if it was I wouldn't be standing here. You're sitting here and you have a staff and their families, and then you have your other family -- those 13 or 14 basketball players. And at the end of the day there are a lot of young people pinning their hopes on what we do. We have a good group of young people, and I'm ecstatic about coaching them.
