He found the ideas that he wanted to use in his novel before either he or his wife had looked at 'The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail. The story line was very well developed. He had the ideas in place, and decided to use them.

Well, we skate like that at home -- the key is to put it out there into competition. So, definitely, to get those two clean programs here at the world championships -- a very important place to do it -- we're very happy. We wanted to do whatever we could to fight for every point.
