finished finishing fourth goal high home last matter means nashville shot sixth three trying win
It doesn't matter to us. We want to play Nashville right now because that means we finished fourth or fifth. We're just trying to finish as high as we can. If we end up finishing sixth and we play these guys, that will be fun, too. If we win the last three games, we have a shot at home ice, so that's our goal right now. After that, it doesn't really matter if it's Nashville, Calgary, Dallas, whoever.
affect couple sure
I'm sure that in a couple of days, I won't even know it's on there. It shouldn't affect the way I play.
advantage fortunate
It was a pretty fortunate play, but one you have to take advantage of.
advantage against chances generating offense played pressure puts time tough
Every time we've played them it's been low-scoring. We have a tough time generating offense against them. That puts pressure on us to take advantage of the chances we got. It's frustrating.
both difference guys hit physical takes taking toll
It takes a toll, yeah, but I think we're taking the same toll on them. They have some guys who have been getting hit a lot, as well. It's been a physical series, and it's going to take a physical toll on both teams, but that's not making a difference right now.
close eight five ground points road time
Five out of eight points is pretty good. Any time you can go on the road and close some ground is pretty good.
against best home league loss nashville next record road start trip win
To start out the road trip with a loss at Columbus, and then win the next two, especially this one against Nashville which has the best home record in the league is pretty impressive.
camp expected injury last learned night prepare soon thinking
I started thinking about this camp as soon as last year's was over. Going to your first camp is tough, and the injury made it even tougher. But I learned how to prepare myself and what was expected of me. I can do all the things that are necessary. I just have to show I can do it night in and night out.
ended good hockey perfect playing stretch
You're not going to play perfect hockey every night. We ended up playing a pretty good game, but we're going to have to be better down the stretch if we want to get in the playoffs.
came clicking composure doubt lost period power second third
The second one was big. The power play hadn't been clicking too good. It showed a lot from our team, because no doubt about it, we lost our composure in the third period (Wednesday). Today, we came out like nothing had happened.
came favors night season team time tough
We want to be a team that is tough to play night in and night out. We did them some favors tonight, but for the first time all season we really came back and battled over 60 minutes.
coming definitely dirty guys question
It's a dirty play, no question about it. I don't know. I mean, the guy's coming right at me. I have him beat, and he kind of just drags his leg. It's definitely something you don't like guys doing.
bad video watch
That's a bad call. They watch video just like we do, they'll see it.
couple games giving gone good last opportunity puck
They've been giving me a pretty good opportunity all year. Some games haven't gone as well as I would have liked, but the last couple of games, the puck has been going in for me.
