He's a different kid. It's like he's come out of his shell.
excited guy hire third time tried
He's a guy I have tried to hire on two other occasions, so the third time was a charm. I'm excited to have him on our staff.
good hurry looks offense player plays point relaxed seem vision
From our point of view, he's very poised. He has very good vision. He's very comfortable with the offense, and he looks like a relaxed player out there. He makes a lot of plays and doesn't seem to hurry things. He executes the offense like a very confident, experienced quarterback would do.
bill worry
From what Bill told me, I didn't have to worry.
balance eight indicator last lean offense practicing run spend spread time week
I don't think what we did last week is an indicator of what we're going to do for the balance of the season. We will lean a little more heavily on the run than we did when I got here eight years ago. We're still a one-back, spread offense and we spend a lot of time practicing the pass.
counted drive
But we didn't do it. On the drive that counted the most.
goal line offensive playing
Because of their experience, our offensive line should be playing well, and they are. Our physicality showed up on the goal line, and that was a positive.
game kicking shock
I don't know about his place-kicking. He's strong-legged, but I don't know about his accuracy. But it wouldn't shock me at all to see him kicking off in the first game of the year.
beating brought dead held problem
I don't have a problem with him being held accountable. But when it is brought up and repeated, it is like beating a dead horse.
option
Right now, I'd say the option is going to be part of our offense.
mickey pluto thank
So, I want to thank Pluto and Mickey and Donald, and all my relatives.
ankle front high sheets
Sheets has an ankle sprain, and I want to say it's a high ankle sprain. It's in the front of the ankle, which is not good.
group initial prove
My initial take on this group is that it's my second-best staff. It may prove to be the best.
anywhere coaching
If I'm not coaching at Purdue, I won't be coaching anywhere else, ... I think this is it for me.
