again game good since talking
We've been talking about that a lot since Game 1. The PK got it done again (Tuesday) and it was good to see.
against boston chemistry dangerous expect few finding game glenn good holes knew looks maybe playing quick realize san seeing sure trying tv
I wasn't sure what to expect when I got traded. Not playing against San Jose much and only seeing him on TV a few times, I didn't realize how good and quick and dangerous he is at finding those holes a passer always looks for when he's trying to find a goal-scorer. After the first game or two, I knew we had that kind of chemistry I had with Glenn Murray for so many years in Boston . Maybe better.
games obviously offense
We've had our chances. Obviously it's early. We've got 80 games to go. Our offense will get clicking. I think offense will be the least of our worries.
box fights-and-fighting five game pick protect spot
There is still a spot in the game for fighting, you just have to pick your spots. You don't want to be in the box for five minutes, but you want to protect your teammates.
biggest game thursday
This was this biggest game of the season, but now Thursday is the biggest game.
blocking four games job win
We're not going to win too many games if we let them have four power-play goals. We've got to do a better job of blocking shots.
bunch games guys win
We play these guys pretty good. We all know we've got to win a bunch of games to get into the playoffs.
atmosphere game road
There wasn't too much atmosphere out there, either. Kind of dead. So for a road game on a back-to-back, we'll take the two points.
bear close door game good great learn minutes played seems start until
I thought we played 55 minutes of great hockey. We've got to learn to close the door when we get a chance. We say it, it seems like every game now. Until we start learning, we really need to bear down. It just wasn't good enough tonight.
forty game hunting last playing playoff teams tone trying win
We've been trying to set a tone for last forty games. We've been hunting teams down the last forty games. We know what is at stake. We have to win every game to be in the playoffs. Really, every game has been a playoff game for us for so long, and we've been playing real well lately.
hockey practice games
It's a good start. Seems like all the lines have chemistry right now. It's tough to tell after one game, but with only one practice all the guys looked like the flowed pretty good out there after the first period.
confidence overtime win
We just had confidence going into overtime we were going to win the game.
front traffic
We just got to get some traffic in front of the net. We're going to be fine.
feeling forced good guys nice plenty
We just forced their defense. We were just all over them. It's nice to see plenty of goals. Guys are feeling good right now.
