We have a few days just to get ready for Dallas. Hey, we worked hard down the stretch. A lot of guys were out and we found a way to get in. That's the most important thing. Now it's round one, and this is when you're judged and we all have to be ready for Dallas.
It's too bad. He was hurt all year. He worked his butt off in the gym to get back. He's a great guy and he was great in the dressing room. Then he comes back (from the wrist injury) and there goes the ankle in the last game. He had injuries all year.
We're right there with everybody else. The division's tight. We were hoping to get closer to Calgary (on Sunday), but it didn't work out. Guys have worked hard all year and we're right in it.
We took a penalty, and that's it. I thought we should have had more than one point, but the guys worked hard. If we keep working like this, we're going to get our points.
We tried to overpass it instead of shoot when we saw them break their sticks. We should have just got it back to Blake and let him blast it.

It was tougher seeing Foote and Pete go because I was with them for so long, ... I've had a lot of friends in Quebec and a lot of friends here (in Colorado) that got traded away or retired. That's just the nature of sports.
The time of year I love the weather the most here is the fall, and I've never really gotten to experience the mountains and Denver in the fall because I was always playing and traveling.
The winning goal was bad luck, ... I knew Adam was there, but I didn't know he was changing. It was just bad judgment, I guess.
