glad heard loudest since win
I was glad to get through it and get Johan a win after the way he pitched, ... Since I've been here, that's the loudest I've heard it.
ahead since situations strikes sure
My thought was just to try to get ahead on strikes and make sure I'm around the plate. It's been a while since I've been out there, so in those situations you never know how you will react.
busting coming everyday hard hitters sit state whatever
We're not going to sit there and say that we need more runs. We know how hard it is, and it's not like our hitters need to be told. We don't need to state the obvious. They're coming in and busting their butt everyday and doing whatever they need to to get better.

I think this game has proved that once you turn the calendar month it's almost like guys can start over again easier.
along lines spot stir trying
I think J.C. is in a better spot mentally, so I think it was more along the lines of that than him trying to stir up anything with us.

We've got our staff back. We've got a better lineup. We're going to be a lot better.
appeal center giving hope millions people vision
I think it's the cardinal's vision and the pope's vision that it would be a center that would appeal to a lot of people. The hope was that it wasn't going to be 10 people giving millions each ... but millions each giving $1.
baseball best challenge easy forward good hopefully looking opening season start tough
It's going to be a tough opening month. I think most of us are just looking forward to getting the season going and looking forward to the challenge of it. Hopefully we can get off to a good start and play the best baseball right away because it's not going to be an easy stretch.
battle guys impact mental regular until
It's going to be more of a mental battle for guys that use them on a regular basis. Once they get over that, it won't impact them at all. But until then, it may.
great individual nice playing playoff trade
It's great and all. It's not like we're playing for individual things. It's nice to have but at the same time, I'd trade it in for a playoff berth.
