We want to change the location to make it closer to what it should be, the bay festival.

We feel now that the kinds of things we felt were needed to make the transition down to the waterfront were not there. We realized it would not work without the support of the entire community.

I didn't want to take the show out of town. This is my home. I felt like I wanted to put it up here first. We did three readings and two workshops. And you know, I thought that was good enough.

We've had two pretty good meets. I've really been surprised that we've been running this well this early. But we've got a lot of meets this season.

We want to try to merge some of the things that happen in Belfast to draw more people to the festival. If we can merge them to us, certainly we're broadening our base.

That is our goal - to bring enough people downtown. We hope to have 10,000 people downtown if we promote it properly.

That's like a state meet. There were 14 teams there ranked in the top 20. It's actually bigger (than the state meet). The quality of the competition was very good.

This is the only truly original show now on Broadway. It doesn't come from any other play or film or anything like that.

I was a little nervous going in because we haven't lost any and that adds a little pressure. But we had a lot of guys step up just like they have all year.

If the full community is not involved in this, we are just rowing our boat upstream.
