Both games it seemed like we were struggling with our bats, but we made some adjustments and they came around. As a coach I'd like to see us adjust earlier, but we're doing a good job.

Billy has done a nice job for us. He's been very effective for us throughout the course of the season. Our hitting was real steady again. We just continue to hit the ball hard.

I feel real good about being 6-1. We're in the driver's seat and if we take care of ourselves it puts the pressure on the rest of the league.

It's a great tournament for us to get our feet wet and have the kids get some work against good ball teams. We still are trying to fit kids in at places and so we were able to see what they can do.
chemistry excited final supporting towards week
We are really getting it going towards the end of the season. I really think this week the team's chemistry is great. They are really excited and are supporting each other going into the final stretch.

Jake has done a good job for us. He's able to spot his pitches and dictate to the hitters instead of letting them dictate to him; he's pretty consistent.
