We didn't play well, but the bottom line was our guys never quit. They kept fighting back, and that's a tribute to them.

That's the game of basketball. We could have quit when we're down seven but they kept trying to make plays. You keep trying and maybe the ball will roll your way sometime.

They are good at beating you off the dribble. They can get penetration and if you close on them they can kick it to someone else.
boards hurt offensive
That was a big factor. They really hurt us on the offensive boards and got too many second-chance points.
enjoyed game group losses painful ranks thoroughly
This game ranks right up there with one of the most painful losses I've ever experienced as a coach. I so thoroughly enjoyed being around this group of young men. To see it end, it hurts.
