Joan Bonvicini is the former head coach for the Seattle University women's basketball team, the Redhawks, and one of only 18 coaches in Division I women's basketball history with 600 career victories. It was a great win considering the adversity of being without a couple of players. Cal has a very good team and a very tough home court. I was really pleased. It was a total team effort with a number of kids who haven't had a big game in a while.

When we got here at shoot-around today, I felt good and I knew they felt good. I think the key thing was, we didn't put the emphasis on Stanford. We put the emphasis on us and playing our butts off and having fun.
