They did a pretty good of getting the message that we needed better play. They did an excellent job out there of running the ball club.

We talked about getting out and setting the tempo early, and that's what we did. We executed early and got some good shots. Our defense was pretty good also.

Each year he has improved tremendously to become the dominant player that he was this year. He was drawing double and triple teams. He garnered a lot of attention.

We didn't make shots. We can stay in games and play really hard, but if you don't make shots, what can you do?

We got good play out of everybody. Everybody came in and did an excellent job, especially defensively.

When Josh came here as a freshman, he was kind of gangly, but grew into his role as a sophomore and really started blossoming as a junior. Josh ended up being a really special player.

I told them after the game that I wasn't really mad at them, because we played really hard. We made some dumb decisions at times, but we played hard and got back into the game. The attitudes were good on the floor, because we have had some attitude problems. But we got out and hustled, and fought and fought and fought. And we had a chance to get back into the game.

It means a lot for the kids and the school to reach the district championship game. We have a lot to be excited about. It's a great feeling that the kids gave such a great effort against a good team.

It's great to have an automatic berth in the region. The kids fought really hard.

We set up to throw long if it was wide open and it was wide open. We just made a bad throw, but you can't blame the kids because that what we told them to do.
fill guy replace
You don't replace a guy like Josh. You just try to find someone to fill that role.
good josh picked stepped teammates
They stepped it up when Josh was in trouble. That's what good teammates do. They really picked us up.
defense easy excellent key kids lose
You're going to lose games, but it's how you respond. I thought the kids did an excellent job. Our defense was the key to us getting some easy baskets early.
anybody care good great
This is great for our confidence. We know that we can play with anybody. Columbia's got a good team. I don't care what anybody says.
