drivers hated loved media today trying type
Earnhardt was the type of person who could be hated and loved. All the drivers today are trying to be loved and want to say the right things for the media and sponsors.
pass runs
Bodine said. ''If he can't pass you, he runs into you. It's that simple.
series
I've never been in a series any more competitive than this one is today,
biggest draws good people stands
I don't think it would be good for the sport. Those people up there in the stands know who is and who is not racing, and with Earnhardt Jr. and Gordon, two of the biggest draws not in it, some of the hoopla won't be the same.
full goes hesitate realize saw throw
I wouldn't hesitate if someone goes down to throw him in there because I know what he's going to give me. I realize he's going to make mistakes, but if he does, they'll be at full speed. He's doing the same things we saw on film in college.
earlier gas hey lane last man race roll step yeah
I didn't give, ... Yeah I could have, but hey man it's the last lap. Sometimes earlier in the race you'd roll out of the gas and step on the brake and let him have the lane, but I had the lane and he wanted it and not on the last lap.
good pull says whenever
OK, the 38 says whenever you're ready, pull up and he'll take a look... he says it's all good... good to go.
earlier gas lane last race roll step
It's the last lap. Sometimes earlier in the race you roll out of the gas and step on the brake and let him have the lane. But I had the lane and he wanted it. And not on the last lap.
good hardly
It's unbelievable that we didn't have to hardly do anything to this truck. It was actually a little loose, but it was good enough.
kurt last lucky
Kurt was lucky last year, and he was lucky again.
haunt hit respect top
He just hit me in the back bumper. When you're up in the top five, you better respect your competitors, 'cause it'll come back to haunt you.
felt last position turned
Hey, I'm going for the position and it's the last lap. I felt that I was under him and he turned down into me.
hit hurt time
Any time you hit a wall, it hurts. This one didn't hurt and I think that's pretty neat.
caution noticed richmond safer until
I never noticed (the SAFER barrier) at Richmond until we were under caution,
