basically edge half healthy joe run second
We hadn't run a lot of the misdirection. We really got Joe out on the edge a lot. And Joe was healthy again. We basically didn't have him the second half of the season.
guys trying wild
It was wild for a minute. We were just trying to keep our guys off.
best coached defense good group looking secondary seem several weaknesses weeks
Usually you'll find one group -- the line, the linebackers or the secondary -- that's better than another, but this defense is just as good in every area. It's the best defense I've ever coached against. I've been looking for weaknesses for several weeks and I can't seem to find one.
good
He's a good runner. He can get going quick.
competitor feeling lose special stomach
You're always going to have those butterflies. If you don't then you're not a competitor and you're not a player. When you lose that feeling in your stomach that's when you need to not do it anymore. That's what makes it special and exciting.
anytime bowl came confidence gained guy horse played throws year
Anytime a guy experiences failure, you always wonder. You've got to put him back up on the horse after it throws him off and see what happens. We did, and he gained that confidence back, and I think at the end of the year when he really played well in the bowl game, it came out, and it showed.
ball faster few five good great group heck might position run runs second similar starts throw throws whoever yards
I think they are very similar in a lot of ways. They are all very good quarterbacks - they can throw the ball, they can run and they can make good decisions. They might have few things where one runs a second faster or the other throws the ball five yards longer, but I don't think there a whole heck of a lot different in a lot of ways. We got a great group and whoever starts at that position should be very good.
good less looks practice sweats
He looks good. He's been between 245 and 250 here now -- even less when he sweats it out during practice. I think he's in really good shape.
calls fans manages might
The little things he does that I see, things the fans might not see, are so much better now. Little things. He calls plays. He manages the game, manages the clock, manages the players, the signals, the checks.
