impacts name team voting
I don't know where Blalock is going to end up in the voting, but I really like him. (Curtis) Stinson made his name a little quicker, but (Blalock) impacts their team more than anybody.
appreciate coach experience fans gave grateful great kansas lead opportunity state support wish
I am grateful for the opportunity Kansas State gave us to coach and lead this program. We wish we could have accomplished more, but it was a great experience and I appreciate the players, staff, administration and our great fans for all they have done to support us.
acute attention believe condition correct critical doctors hate health immediate informed juncture measures past season serious step suffering team
I have been suffering with this condition for much of the season and it has become more acute over the past 10 days. The doctors have informed me that without immediate attention that this condition will only become more serious and permanent. I hate to step away from the team at such a critical juncture of the season, but I believe that I have to take measures now to correct these health issues.
finding instead lose momentum ways
Obviously, we don't have any momentum going. We're finding ways to lose instead of finding ways to win.
attention close pay shade spread tend weapons
You have to pay close attention to him because he's the centerpiece of the offense. He can make a play at any time, but they have other weapons that tend to make you shade off of him. They can spread you out.
starts
It starts with his mind-set. He's put up big numbers, but he's all about winning. When you get to that point, there's no cobwebs left. It's all about winning.
defended dried offense stop tech texas today
The offense just dried up on us. Then we couldn't get a stop without fouling them. I thought we could have defended better, but today Texas Tech was too much for us.
ball dried offense tech texas
The offense dried up on us. We didn't make enough plays. I thought we were getting the ball where we wanted to get it, but today, Texas Tech was too much for us.
amazing ball drop game offensive stop
That is a pretty amazing way to drop that game today. It's just really unfortunate. You've got to make an offensive play; you've got to be able to get the ball down court; you've got to be able to stop somebody.
case future happening road season teams
It's stunning, isn't it? Not stunning, maybe, but surprising, that that many teams went on the road and won. I don't think that's going to be the case as season progresses from here. We're projecting the future here, but I don't see that happening very often.
improbable win
It's an improbable win if you look at where we were Wednesday.
good guard knew strong talent talented teams top win
It's been a combination of talent and good coaching. Their guard play has been better for them, and they always play good strong defense. They're just awfully talented and strong. I didn't think they would win 10 in a row, but I knew they would end up as one of the top teams in our league.
bothered broke create early half quickness
That first half we really got after it. Our athleticism and quickness bothered them. To create that many turnovers is pretty impressive. We kind of broke their back early in the game.
bothered create half quickness
That first half, we got on them pretty good. Our athleticism, our quickness bothered them. To create that many turnovers in one half is impressive.
