We?re really pleased with the defensive effort by everyone. The first period was a little sloppy, but the second and third they played very well. It was a good team effort.

It was a pretty good hockey game, but those two quick goals in the third - that?s when they took it away from us. If we could have kept it 2-1 after two it could have been a different game.

It's been a day-to-day existence for them for quite a while. They're seeking some normalcy. I hope they've found it.

That team was red-hot coming in. A great effort by the kids. They did a nice job.

There were some guys who earned their varsity spurs today.

I think they held a 70/30 edge on us in possessing the ball during the first half. We did a little better in the last 30 minutes of the game but by then they had a three-goal lead.

Against Salem we got behind, but we didn't give up and got better as the game went on. And today we continued to get better. There were some guys who earned their varsity spurs today.
