asked bad call chance heck opponent refreshing rick third tiring
Rick asked me if I wanted anything on third down? ... And I said I didn't know what they were doing on third down. That's bad to say, but that's the truth. I've had a chance to look at the opponent this week. It's been kind of tiring but refreshing at the same time. I don't call the defenses, but at least I know what the heck is going on.
asked count crowd deal flipped heads home noise scoreboard silent team
I look up at the scoreboard and there are signs, 'Let's Go Giants'. The referees, when they flipped the coin, they asked us if we wanted heads or tails. They had no idea who the home team was and who was away. The crowd noise we had to deal with, we never had to do a silent count at home.
adapt ask football guys resilient
Our guys are really resilient to things that go on. And they adapt to things very well, and there's not a lot of complaining, ... They just kind of do it, and they're on time, and they do everything right. That's all you can ask from a football team.
asked fault players respect
I'm not going to say anything to him. The only thing I asked of my players is be professional and respect the man. It's not his fault we had to move.
penalties
We just had way too many penalties and way too many turnovers.
close penalties
We just had way too many penalties and turnovers. We just didn't have any opportunities to get close to them.
equal good issue looking money rid team three trade value
We weren't looking to get rid of him. It was a money issue at the time. We had three good (defensive) ends, so we were looking to trade him if we could get equal value. We thought Darren's value to this team was a lot.

ball hold moved points score shame team turned
We turned it over way too many times. It's a shame we didn't score more points. If you hold a team to 17 points you should win. We moved the ball well, we just didn't score enough.
chance football gives healthy involved team
We're going to try to get everyone involved and keep Deuce healthy if we can, ... If we have a healthy Deuce McAllister on this football team and Antowain Smith, it gives us a better chance to win.
complexes four hotels moved numerous offices three
I've been in four complexes in four weeks, ... I've moved offices numerous times. I think three hotels and now an apartment.

The whole thing was a great cause and the NFL did a great job of raising money for the Gulf Coast,
concerned defense fix great run stress trying whatever work
The run defense is something I'm concerned with, and we're going to stress it and keep trying to work on it and do whatever we have to do to fix it, ... great test.
adapt football guys normal raise resilient since
Ever since I was a kid, when you raise your child, you want to get them in a routine. I think it's the same for a football player. We haven't been in a normal routine. Our guys are really resilient and they adapt real well. They don't complain. They do it.
