again chris feeling looks nice shape
It's nice to have him back. He's in shape again and he's back to feeling like Chris Barclay. It looks like he's got the kinks out.
coach coached glad guys mistakes next pay practice
Still too many mistakes. I'm glad we didn't have to play (this week). It wouldn't have been pretty, but that's why we practice and that's why they pay us to coach these guys. We've got to get these guys coached up in the next week.
coaches everybody football good hard hurts scholars-and-scholarship talent teams wants win
It's hard to lose, no question, and that hurts everyone's morale. Not just the players, but the coaches and the fans. Everybody wants to win. ... I think we've had enough talent to win. We're just not doing the things that good teams do to win football games.
enjoy environment guys tough
It's a tough environment. I think our guys will enjoy it.
fifth kicking ourselves year
We're just kicking ourselves that we don't have a fifth year for him. We couldn't do it. We had to get him on the field.
balanced florida might offensive played since state talented team
They might be as talented a team as we've played since we've been here (five seasons). From an offensive standpoint, they've put things together. This may be the most balanced Florida State team we've played.
practice spring
A big part of spring practice was to get a look at those guys.
This is the Cory Randolph we always expected.
against boston college dominated either fortunate fourth game good hung matched until
I think they dominated us for two years and we've been very fortunate at the end of the game to win. If you look at all the stats, we haven't matched up very well in either game and Boston College has done some really good things against us. I think more than anything else, we just hung around there until the fourth quarter.
aaron coaching defense energy everybody few forward fun gets good kids people picked time
He's always bouncing, always in a good mood. Very few people look forward to practice, but I think Aaron Curry does. And when he's out there there's a sense of energy on our defense and everybody gets picked up a little bit. He's one of those kids that you have fun coaching (because) he makes you feel better every time he's around you.
balance focus help hit home players recruiting run talented
Our recruiting focus was to help all the different positions. I like the balance in our class. I think we hit a home run with players this year. This is a very talented group.
chance desire good great handled help short surprised
He has a great desire to be good and help the team. And he has a short memory. I'm kind of surprised he's handled it as well as he has. He's got the chance to be something special.
care feels guy home priority sure time wants
He wants every play to be a home run. There's a sense where, as a coach, you want a quarterback who feels that way ... but at the same time you want a guy who makes sure that his No. 1 priority is to take care of the football.
foot good running schools
He can play - he can flat-out play. A lot of schools were after Josh. He's got really good foot speed, but he's not just a perimeter guy. He's really good running between the tackles.
