good run western
I actually had a pretty good run at the Western (Open),
mistake top
I was over the top of the swing, ... It never had a chance. You can't make that mistake left.
career darn decent golf though winning
Winning golf tournaments is what's important to me. If I said that, even though I've had a decent career and 10 wins, you would probably think I was pretty darn arrogant.
control guy tournament winning
Winning two years in a row, pretty much being in control of this tournament most of the way, he's the guy to beat.
hard physical works
I see how hard he works at home, not only with his game, but with his physical fitness,
girls guy guys normally popular won
He's a guy all the girls like and all the guys like. That normally doesn't happen. If the girls like a guy, then the guys think he's a sissy. And guys usually like someone all the girls can't stand. He's a popular guy who has won here, so I think that endears him to everyone.
biggest forget gary jack kick line next side step
We were 3 up through four, and he was just chirping all the way around, ... I didn't know him well enough to know that side of him. And then on the next hole, Ernie and Gary pressed. I'll never forget what Jack said. His next line was, 'Boys, step into my office.' I got the biggest kick out of him.
blowing call major seen storm
Without a major storm blowing through, I haven't seen them much stronger. I wouldn't call this normal.
heart my-heart disappointed
I'm disappointed. I played my heart out and it didn't work.
bombs way tongue
I had a very well-respected writer ask me point blank to my face whether it actually mattered to me. Now, without wanting to reach out and just strangle him or send a few F-bombs his way, I just bit my tongue, told him he offended me and walked away.
moving golf play
There's going to be places where you can attack the golf course and there's going to be times where you've got to kind of bite your lip and play conservative and hit to certain spots on the green, get out of there with a par and move on.
golf years goal
My only goal is to look back at the end of each year and see that I have improved.
backyards balls green
Having a Southwest Green in my backyard is a huge advantage for me on tour. I am pleasantly surprised just how true the ball rolls and reacts to chip and pitch shots. I love my Southwest Green.
anywhere davis far left near personally rough score shoot
You can't say all that much. We've all been in that position, and I know personally I'd just kind of want to be left alone. Davis had a rough day and didn't shoot anywhere near the score he could have. He's not that far off.
