We've got a lot of things working for us right now. We came up short in Chicago, but we played well two of the three games. We could easily be 6-1 and not 4-3. We'll take what we've got and work with it.
I think when he came down I was still sliding and I caught his shin guard a little bit. It's not that big of a deal.
I was a little worried about how I would do today - we've been playing pretty well since I came out of the lineup - but I wanted to get in there and take a little pressure off Albert.
There are a few things that are like that. I'm happy and lucky to have been a part of it. I thought it was pretty special.
A total professional who everybody respects. No matter what happens, he never complains. He's a competitor. He's the kind of guy you want on your team.
Tony did a great job of putting the pieces together all year. To play as well as we have with all the injuries, it just makes this a great team victory.
If they don't pick (the option) up, I don't know how many opportunities there are going to be for me to play. I'm going to approach it like this season will be one of the last ones I have. Hopefully, they'll allow me to come back. But if they don't, I have to be ready for Plan B.
I don't know what to say. It cost us the game, so I've got to deal with it.
My first question was whether I could know ... just for some peace of mind or to have a game plan how I could live my life the next couple years,
My season is kind of a wash as far as some of the numbers. I'm really just trying to go out there and get prepared for what's to come. That's really it right now.
I was swinging the bat well in Chicago, had some good swings in Philadelphia but just not here. Putting the ball in play would be helpful. I just do something wrong and (the shoulder) gets a little sore. I take a bad swing, it gets a little worse.
I wouldn't want to sit in the training room all day and make those guys work when they've got 50 guys in there. If I can go out there and play with a little bit of pain, I can stay out of the training room.
If we had a full complement and the airport had a full complement, we could do a better job to make sure more containers are inspected.
Show up, get your feet wet, set a good example; there's lots of reasons to.
